1986 ­ Shri Lakshmi Steel Suppliers was established in Bangalore

1992 ­ Company emerged as one of the key players in the Iron and Steel industry in South India. Company had grown 10 fold in revenue in six years.

2001 ­ Shri Lakshmi Steel was awarded the Highest Lifter Award by Vishakapatnam Steel Plant. The company has retained this title until today.

2004 ­ Shri Lakshmi Metal Udyog Ltd. began commercial production of MS pipes/GI pipes. With the highest production capacity in region, the company upped the benchmark for tube manufacturing in the region. This project was merged with one of the leading tube manufacturers in Indian in the year 2008.

2008 ­Barnala Properties Pvt. Ltd. was set up in order invest and develop quality residential and commercial projects.

2010 SL Group companies achieved a turnover of 300 crore rupees
